Carolina Rehabilitation inc

Carolina Rehabilitation, Inc. was first established in Wallace, North Carolina, in July of 2002, by  J. Scott Stephens, PT, MS. This practice was created to assist local employees with regaining their pre-injury or pre-disease status. Our second office opened in Wilmington, N.C. in July 2003.

Our Brunswick County division, opened its doors in August 2004, partnered by Scott Stephens, PT, MS, Mary Francis Stoker, PT, MHA, DPT.,  and Scott Thomas, PT, BSc., Cert. M.D.T., CGS. Collectively they d/b/a/ Brunswick Physical Therapy Associates, (BPTA) a division of Carolina Rehabilitation, Inc. BPTA has four offices that are conveniently located in Shallotte, Ocean Isle Beach, Southport and Supply, NC. 

Brittainy Edwards, PT, MPT ​and Scott Stephens, PT, MS joined forces in October, 2004 to create a third division of Carolina Rehabilitation, Inc, called Edwards and Associates Physical Therapy (EAPT).

Each of our clinics strive to provide appropriate, personalized, cost-effective physical therapy services for a wide variety of diagnoses to a population ranging from "new born" to "geriatric." Most of the patients we treat have been referred from healthcare professionals in our surrounding communities who seek to enhance their patients' well-being.

Our mission at Carolina Rehabilitation, Inc is to provide rehabilitation services to those whose circumstances have challenged their functionality. Our therapists have numerous certifications along with clinical and leadership awards based on professional peer recognition. Collectively we have more than a century of clinical experiences. We are very proud of and grateful for the exceptional professionals and staff members who deliver care for Carolina Rehabilitation, Inc.
