Scott has forty-eight plus years clinical and management experience within physical therapy practice including clinical sites in hospitals, private clinics, home health, schools, psychiatric hospitals and spanning the age range from birth until death. His patients appreciate their active participation in any therapy physical program Scott directs. Scott Stephens was Founding President, Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapists, Director, American Physical Therapy Association, Chair, Virginia Physical Therapy Board, President, Virginia Physical Therapy Association, Chair, Practice Committee of Orthopaedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association, recipient of numerous service and clinical awards from peers and Council of State Legislators; Advisory Council, Medical College of Virginia School of Physical Therapy. Chair, Insurance Committee for American Physical Therapy Association requiring review of most malpractice and negligence cases throughout United States. Currently licensed in Virginia and North Carolina. Scott takes pride in the professional growth of his coworkers and clinical accomplishments of his patients.
